Saves the Day – Sell My Old Clothes, I'm Off to Heaven Lyrics 16 years ago
I agree the title is kinda contradicting to the lyrics of the song. But in a way the title makes sense. The title "Sell my old clothes" could mean get rid of his memories, his past of this girl. At the ending of the song when he says "to hell with you" could mean he's over her even though he still maybe hurt and need some closure, he's ready to move on without this girl which brings to the other part of the title "I'm off to heaven" Hell is his heaven, like he's going to move on either way if this girl doesn't give him the answers he's asking. To me this guys pretty decent I mean everyone has flaws but the part when he said "I should hate you, but I can't replace you in my heart" he still loves the girl, and thinks he should but his heart can't let him. It must of been his first love, or the girl meant alot to him.
