i'd agree with tvw. i definitely translate alot of their lyrics to be about drugs, and to people who disagree you've probably just never done any. it's quite clear to me and they all did alot of drugs at one point; it's obvious based on interviews and lyrics. does anyone know if they plan on releasing a studio version of this? |

Definitely about doing drugs, most likely heavy stuff like shrooms or acid. The couch has pretty much eaten him so he has inside fever, he doesn't want to get up or do anything. "They'll show you all the things you are not doing" I think means he can see people around him doing things that he's not because he's too lazy or fucked up. Even though i definitely think it's about him on drugs, it can be applied to anyone. It's about one of those days where you just sit around and be lazy as hell when you know you should be doing something and even though it bothers you, you still can't find the motivation to get off your ass because it's so comfy. Very trippy song, any ac gives me a natural high |

Just my opinion i think this song is about a bad trip like cuckoo cuckoo. I think it's about all of his fears. He then realized that he doesn't know if there's any real danger and decides that he's alright if the person he trips with is alright too. When people trip the person they are tripping with's mood/state can affect there's alot and to know that they are okay is reassuring. Then his trip kinda changes and gets brighter mid song. Then i think the person he's with is telling him his problems but he doesn't want to hear them because he's got enough of his own. then i think that person he is with or maybe himself starts getting all freaked out about torture and so he reassures him/himself that there's other ways to die Feel free to disagree with me |

To me this song is a about a bad drug trip of some sort and he's going "cuckoo cuckoo," or insane. Like someone said earlier he "lost his boy" meaning he can't make the connection with his past like he wants to. Sorta like in peacebone- "an obsession with the past is like a dead fly, a few things are related to the old times." Also he is with people that he would prefer not to be around- "it's odd where I am. There are people you're not like them. They just drift and pray for rain quenched golden days." He's scared and wants his mom/friend, these are all signs of a bad trip. Alot of times the music can control your trip. he wants to listen to one favorite song to chill him out for a little bit and better his trip but it ends to fast and he goes back to bad tripping. "Sometimes all I want is is one favorite song. Two to three minutes doesn't seem that long." "Don't do any good to say this isn't what i planned" Meaning that he knew this would happen because he wanted to trip. This is just my translation of the song.
