| wow, that's a very beautiful yet strange interpretation. It's funny how music does that. I'm sorry for your loss. | |

Partly true. According to bnglaze22 on youtube, "Sorry to bust everyone's bubble, but this song was written about his friend and former band mate, Joe Beleznay. Sources state that Joe, at the time, suffered mildly with agoraphobia and as such served as the inspiration for this song." Before I read that person's explanation, I picked up some hints of agoraphobia and insomnia, especially in "3:02/the space in this room/has turned on me/ and all my fears have cornered me here/me and my TV screen" I'm also afraid of wide open spaces, I'm near-sighted and I'm a bit of an insomniac. On nights when I can't sleep, I stare at what looks like the wide open spaces of my room, and I get scared with thoughts of those fears (and other things) in my head that keeps me awake. I know my room is small, but being near sighted makes everything look so far away, and I feel sort of small and scared. |

| I agree about how "things I'll never say" is more of a crush song and this one comes ina deeper level of a relationship (As of my current experiences) this seems almost like unrequited love. | |
