I think that it's saying "let the drummer kick" because drumming is a beat, like the heartbeat of a song; and drummers usually tap out the basic beat of the song with their feet. This means that he's telling you to let the drummer kick and keep the heartbeat of everything going. Or to keep life going. maybe? |

He says he fears he will be rescued from the boredom lines because he probably has a lot of free time with his job where it's up to him as to what to do ( write, play, ect) but if you aren't ever bored, then you are always busy; probably doing something which could suck a lot more then feeling bored. Plus, creativity comes from boredom? |
