I agree, this song IS incredible. Only thing is i think after 'Lets sail the seven seas and see what we ' I think he's saying are. But, raskolnikov3825, is probably about on the dot on the meaning. You gotta live life chill. |

As i said before and i'll say again: Though the song may have specific reason for being written in the musician/composers eyes; to people that hear it, the song will most likely have their own significant meaning. When i first heard this {And i LOVE this song.} I thought of Blood Diamonds, which is a concept of people being forced as slaves to mine for gold or diamonds. But i also relate it to Insomnia. I dont know why, but it fits. |

i think it partially means how little time you actually have to live and make most of it. Or how fast pace life is. There's many ways song's can be defined, people have opposite ways of tying songs to them. I like this song though. Its one of the rare brilliant songs you'll ever hear. To me with the 24 hours, decreasing to 13 and on is about the fast pace of life, and how its getting closer to the end. {In just 8 hours they’ll be laying flowers on my life, it’s over tonight} {I’m not messing no I need your blessing and your promise to live free please do it for me} these two verses are my favorite, the second verse is basically her asking a loved one to live free and the way they wish too, for her. |
