I was listening to this today, in an excited and very competitive state. I think the song is about an ambitious young person, ready to take on the world. He's "always right" and giving "em all the slip." And then at the end, the song wraps up by saying that the ambitions youngster doesn't really get that far. Personally, I don't think this song is about drugs or hitler or anything that concrete - I think its more about the ideas of naivety and ambition. |
