Reading some of of Ben's recent interviews makes me think that this is about him feeling sick, but loving his fans and making music enough that he wants to keep giving his all even if it kills him. Kindof gives me that 'punch' in the gut to think about it this way, and thinking about the sacrifices we make for the things/people we love. Beautiful song. |

I think it may be about literally 'hitting heaven far too high'. Reaching a point with something or someone. A point where your life feels so perfect that everything else just feels mediocre after it is gone. |
