Pleaaase... freestyling?! You know when rappers label a track as "freestyle" on their album or drop a youtube video including the word "freestyle" it's not actually a freestyle? It's all promo sir. And flossing all he's earned? If you know anything about Lil Wayne's career he isn't flossing about what he's earned... his tyrannasarus rex ego has always been flossing since he was given << since the beginning. Dude was born into a rap superstar position. The sad thing about the music industry is that we celebrate musicians who only talk about how sweet they are, and flaunt material ideals. Wake the fuck up house cat you make me nervous for humanity |

| Anybody happen to notice the blatant reference to the all seeing eye on the back of the dollar bill?? Put your hands together in the form of a triangle and make sure your eye is at the peak of it... C.R.E.A.M. Originality??? Please! These guys are puppets that promote materialism. They are rapping about the same thing all mainstream rappers talk about: Being the best, preserving the Rockefeller "Dynasty", and making sure everybody cares more about cash and themselves than the overall well being of American society. Garbage in terms of morality | |

couldn't agree with you more. If there's one thing Jack Johnson has proven in his entire body of work, it's that he is indeed enlightened and knows his role in bringing about a positive change in the world... and he is effective at this. I think the opening paragraph really touches on the idea of impossibility only being a limit to the box that so many people are stuck in and the belief that perception is infinitely unique. "I can feel a change in everything and as the surface breaks reflections fade" I think he is speaking of a global change in conscious awareness. He knows more and more people are becoming enlightened and that the common man is waking up from his ego illusion. The "surface" meaning the mask/front everybody has to cover up their insides breaks, and "reflections fade" meaning images and materiality crumble as love and truth spill out to replace it (only in some people!) I know and can relate to not wanting the feeling to go away, it is very hard to hold onto at times but I think knowing that you create the world around you just by how you display your attitude and how you handle adversity is hopeful. Thank you Jack, keep making music, you are a wise man |
