this is possibly the greatest song ever. Starts with a beautiful intro with so much going on. I LOVE it! This song always cheers me up, and gives me hope. It's lyrics are deriect, but I think there is a hidden meaning in all of it. Through the song I get the POSITIVE feeling towards sex, and love, but still he says "it will help you get through life" as if all we should be doing is getting through life. Idk. I have so many thoughts on this song. Also the title and chorus is just brilliant. It's so simple, but such an amazing thing. I can't beleive no one though of it sooner... |

Well musicians have managers too. I think the actual meaning is definately about going on tour and leaving behind someone he loves. But people relate to songs in different ways To ME this song is about the girl I love, who is switching highschools and may graduate early. She says she'll miss me but doesn't act emotional or anything. While I'm practically crying because i'll miss her so much, I still know it's for the best. This song gives me hope that we may meet up again after highschool. |

This song can have many meanings depending in who you are. To me, a guy has fallen in love with his best freind. He doesn't know but doesn't think she loves him. This song is in part about him thinking about the situation. He remembers seeing her and talking but he f only sees her there fir "a little while". He knows he loves her no matter what and even if people thought she had "pale skin" or found her unattactive he would still love her and wants to show her that by embracing her with a kiss. He thinks together they will be perfect for eachother. He thinks there perfect for eachother and as long as she loves him and never looks back/down on anythig she could be missing, then they will love eachother for ever and never break up. He now may have done something to let her know or he wants her too see the truth. Either that or he is trying to make her fall in love with him (butterflies in stomach). he also may think that the way they talk and. He may be saying the way the talk and flirt but don't go further and the mixed signs he gets from her are "twisted" and he is trying to hide from it because in his bed/dreams he can stop thinking about it. But he doesn't sleep much making it a terrible cycle All in all it is about falling in love with your best freind and wanting to do something about it but he can't and it is making him depresssed/sad. And how he thinks all the stupid flirting is stupid pointless and "twisted" and that she should just go with him instead of flirting but being best freinds only. I am going through this and I love her but I don't think she loves me, so I'm trying to make her stomach feel sick and regret not dating me earlier by getting more attractive and being a guy she would wanna be in a relationship with instead of being her best freind. Often I am kept up late screaming in my head because I Sam not with her. |
