Paramore – Hard Times Lyrics 8 years ago
50% Cindy Lauper + 50% Kid Creole = a 30 years old song; probably they watched the video of 'Glamour boy' by Living Colour to realize the clip of this song.
But, after the jokes, I think that Paramore uses an unusual funny way to describe a person who's facing the decision of suicide by jumping out of the window.

Bat for Lashes – Peace Of Mind Lyrics 16 years ago
Do you remind my commment on 'Wilderness'? I've thought to this song just as a description of Natasha while she's wandering in NYC or watching the city from the top of a skyscraper and she refer to the victims of car crashes or street fights.
Few days ago I find this interview

with Natasha Khan where she talks about her life and music and she confirm that 'Two Suns' is an allegoric vision of the time spent in NYC.
In fact, this isn't one of my favourite songs, but I listen this CD as a single work, and none of the songs can be excluded.

Bat for Lashes – Wilderness Lyrics 16 years ago
I think to the songs of this album as the chapters narrated by Natasha about her life in New York and the conclusion of the relationship whit a musician.
She tells her vision of the town('Glass'), the early days after the love is over and she try to continue her life as ever('Sleep alone'), some regrets and a reference to the musician's band('Moon and Moon') and to her youth('Daniel'). Then the appearance of an alterego that could erase all the mistakes and be more attractive and exuberant than Natasha, and her consciousness of this presence(from'Peace of mind'to'Two planets'). At the end, Natasha take back the control of her mind and realize that she has to go on with her career in music('Travelling woman') and Pearl disappear('The big sleep'). The last song('Wilderness') is the leaving from NYC and coming back to England. About this song I can't understand why it's been left out from the CD (bonus track on iTunes); of course it's a good move for the major's cash, but very bad for all the fans.
