| In my opinion, this song is definitely from a girl's prospective. To me, Love Connection and Love Connection pt II are reminiscent of summer events as a teenager. I read an interview with Zac once saying that he enjoyed writing from all different perspectives, and that on one album he was actually trying to piece together his adolescence through writing because he forgot most of it, though the end product turning out to be mostly fictional. But anyway, "there's blood between my legs" is a dead giveaway that she is the cause of the "menstrual blood seeping into trampled grass" in Love Connection. | |
