| Is that whilst he's saying "I'll be waiting for you..." etc etc. The lyrics that aren't written down here? | |

Shouldn't the lyrics be "just give me some candy after my hug" rather than "after my heart" ? |

| The Script – I'm Yours Lyrics | 16 years ago |

The Script played this at a concert in February. When Danny introduced it he said that he'd written it at 3am one night, drunk. Love this song. Possibly my favourite on the album. |

| Gary Go – Open Arms Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think that Gary Go is talking about life in general and also something more personal - a relationship. He is saying that when things are bad you have to tell yourself that they will get better. Not everything is going to go your way in life, but everybody has to deal with things. Nobody's life is ever perfect. If you go through life trying to be perfect, you're not going to get anywhere. He is also saying that you should make the most of life and the opportunities you are given - "I've gotta take these chances where they are" I read in his blog that in his video he gets to be something he always wanted to be (an astronaut) - "whatever happened to the list of things I wanted to be" I think he's saying that if you don't take opportunities when they are there, you'll regret it later in life and that these opportunities may not come round again. I also think he could be talking about society and change in this song, particularly at the beginning. People should be more truthful, more forgiving and give apologies when they are owed. People should be less selfish. There are a number of themes within this song. Life, relationships, society, change. I think it is up to the listener what they themselves make of it. One thing - anyone know what the correct lyrics are for "Yeah, the words are on the seam" I added the lyrics myself and was never sure about this line and am quite sure it's incorrect. An amazing song. |

| Keane – A Bad Dream Lyrics | 16 years ago |

"Wouldn't mind it If you were by my side But you're long gone Yeah you're long gone now" Is this perhaps referring to a lover the pilot has lost in the war? Or just talking about the distance between him and his lover? Any ideas? |

I used to think this song was about a relationship, but didn't really get it. Reading previous comments, and now knowing that it is in fact about her mother, it makes so much more sense. |

| Gary Go – Wonderful Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Saw Gary Go supporting the Script in February. His music is so inspirational, it helps me through a lot. To me, "Wonderful" is perhaps aimed in particular at those who are perhaps going through something or who are or have been depressed. I think that they would be able to relate to this song better than others. It's as if Gary Go has been there himself and he's telling his listeners that there is a way out if you believe, not to give up, to keep on fighting. That life is worth living. A real inspiration. An amazing song that listeners can relate to, which is what good music is all about. Gary Go deserves to go far. |
