Jawbreaker – Jet Black Lyrics 16 years ago
I don't think this song is about a girl.
I think it's more a song about blake, or maybe just a part of blake.
'If you don't remind me, I won't forget you.' may be saying that when he is the state of mind in which he narrates he can reflect on this part of himself. However he is not aware that he is becomming this person when its happening.

I think this song is a reflection on a manic person he can take on, one thats a bit crazy and spiteful. Maybe a even a younger blake?

Now he has matured a bit and can reflect on it all. I think he doesnt really like this part of him 'I'll be quiet to keep you quiet.' and 'Lights out, you can't come in.', he wants to say goodbye to this part of him but he can't because the person he is now can't 'I need you to bury me'.

He still thinks about it and sometimes wants to fall back into it 'These hands long for one last touch.'

This song is definatly self destructive, its like he wants to scream at any moment.

I think alot of the songs of Dear You are self reflective, if youve done alot of self reflecting yourself their is alot on this album that you can relate to.
