'The line "Do you ever think of me," gives an indication that the person is still alive, hence it can't be Kurt.' Not necessarily true. He might have been writing from what his point of view was back in the day about Kurt and his death. Personally, I believe the song is about Kurt. It's like an obvious sexual innuendo: It COULD mean something else, but it mostly points to the first thing you think of when your hear it. And with this song, that thing/person is Kurt Cobain. |

Haha, this song hasn't been commented on in so long. Anywho, this song is about not being alone with your frustrations, basically. Pretty simple song, but it makes me feel ten times better when I'm pissed off at everyone and everything. |

You people have to understand that Avril Lavigne likes change. That’s who she is and that’s what she’s always been like. She went from tomboy, to a darker clothing style, and now to a more bubble gum punk pop. Personally, I think that’s great! She’s not trying to please anyone, and she’s not trying to suck up to her record label or anyone else. This is coming from someone who used to HATE her with a passion. I used to be like “Avril Lavigne is a waste of music and she’s obviously a poser and she’s too PINK and blablabla.” Whateveeeer. None of you can change her by wishing she would. I love her new independent anthems like “I Don’t Have To Try” and “I Can Do Better”, and every other song she’s written. If you can’t write better stuff or sing better, than I suggest you all shut your mouths immediately. And, what may sound bratty about her to some people just sounds like the ability to tell people to buzz off to me. |

Avril Lavigne, as cliché as it sounds, is my role model. She’s always stuck up for what she believes in, and she's never let anyone push her around, especially of the male persuasion. Her music shaped me into the girl I am. I know that sounds kind of dumb to state, but me, not having a female to kind of pave something there for me to look at as an example makes her music mean a lot in that way. I’ve turned down a lot of guys who I’m happy that I did because frankly, now that I look at it, I would have been dumb if I didn’t. That’s obvious when I look back on it. |

When we met you said we were the same You know that we're different, we're different, And all the times you promised me that everything would work out in the end, you were gravely mistaken. This is my favorite line in the whole song. It talks about so many people out there. The users and manipulators and the violators. Silverstein packs so much emotion into their music that it's addictive. Shane has an incredible voice :) I love these guys, nuff said. |
