I sense a certain kind of irony in this song, especially when at the end of the song she says "It's a beautiful life....or lie." I think when Lindsay sang this she is aware of how truly lucky she is to be living her dream, but at times she hurts from time to time. But then, I think this song comes together in a round about way, when she realizes that the good in her life overcomes the bad. Who knows, though. Just my opinion. = ] |
