| I can see why people think this is about abortion, especially the line "shakes me, makes me lighter" and paired with the video, but im not convinced. It strikes me more as a song about someone on the edge of themself, very possibly contemplating suicide (gentle compulsion) andthe idea makes her feel lighter, theres an out. the "Black flowers" blossoming is their self hatred growing, faithful mirror of the eye is trusting their own warped idea of themselves. "fearless on my breath" is a lack of fearing death. "Your stumbling a little" is them stumbling through life, never satisfied never enough. And the teardrop on the fire? well, crying does no good,now does it? it never puts the fire out. The video itself probably raises the question, are we doomed to these fates from the very beginning? for many it is an inbalance that causes these dark thoughts to go swirling around, so are we doomed to such selfhatred, even in the womb? perhaps even then we have a sense of knowing, this world will destroy us. | |

No comments on this magnificent song? thats almost a crime!! Personally I think this is about a dual personality, a skitzophrenic. One minute theyr Jekyll the next theyr Hyde and shes struggling to love this person even though hes hurting her and when she tries to get him to get some professional help he turns it around on her and makes it seem like shes the one with the problem. And she wants him to just leave her alone if hes not going to listen and get help, but in the end she DOES love him and shes willing to forgive all the hurtful things he does if hed only admit he has this problem. |

Among the YT KH fan community, there is a conspiracy theory, that this was done on purpose. In Sanctuary, they deliberately made certain parts go backwards. They KNEW someone would want to know what it says and would reverse it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Anq8smT4oBk It turned out to be very Riku oriented and if you think about it, Sanctuary was about Sora, kinda Rikus opposite. I love this song so much, It truly speaks to me. Im in a situation in my life, where I dont know what I want. Im at a crossroads, and everyones telling me to make a decision and that it will set me on my lifes path. But Im scared, what if I dont like what I choose, I cant go back. I just want time to stop, so I can figure out what I want. And I want everyone to stop telling me to do this or do that because if I choose something different theyll just be disapointed. I lay awake at night worrying about it. If I set things in motion i cant go back, but if I dont do anything, then it will be too late and ill have no choices or options and EVERYONE becomes mad at me for not taking theyr advice. its a lose-lose situation. and then theres my parents, who are seperated and at each others throats, so I have to appease them bothand that always seems to crash down around me cos they drag me into arguments. |
