| not only that but it shows you lack of insight into musical ability or vocal and melodic range. coheed and cambria, in my opinion, is probably one of the best rock groups with such range, and epic ability since rush. along with the fact that Claudio Sanchez has played with people like Warren Haynes. so mabey you should open you mind up to the amazing fucking music being created and you might be a little happier instead of trying to bash people with great talent, on a lyric post for their fans. | |
| Coheed and Cambria – Devil in Jersey City Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| true story. saying Coheed and Cambria is emo would be the same as saying rush is emo. it is just not the truth. it just always seems to be put in that category because or their inability to be classified in most of the circulating genres. they tour with metal bands but most metal heads don't watch their show because they ignore Claudio's amazing fucking voice. melodic rick is perfect. kudos forum8cgs. nelson out | |

I think this song is about Scots inhibition from heroine and giving up on anything else in life, because he has already accomplished enough, and is ready to just sit back and feed his veins. I picture him in his car driving home from his dealer having just scored, not really happy about what he is becoming but also felling like it is his saving grace. This is definitely one of the top 5 songs ever written about smack. And maybe I’m taking the driving faster in his car to literal, he could be using the car as a metaphor as the devise taking him home or to his final destination. "Drivin' faster in my car" -Racing home ready for the slam "Falling farther from just what we are" -felling like he is leaving his life behind to chase his emptiness and inhibition "Smoke a cigarette and lie some more" -telling himself that he is ready to leave himself behind "These conversations kill" -which is in turn slowly destroying him "Falling faster in my car" -summing it all up and bringing you back to him in his car "Time to take her home, her dizzy head is conscience laden" "Time to take a ride that leaves today no conversation" "Time to take her home her lazy head is conscience laden" "Time to wait too long to wait too long" "These conversations kill" -I think this is him talking about how much the overwhelming rush from is heroine almost brings time to a standstill and he doesn’t feel rushed by the pressure of life, and about how the talking just brings all these things to the surface. "Too much walkin', shoes worn thin" -saying that he has lived so much that his ability to brush off the hard things in life has worn away "Too much trippin' and my souls worn thin" -that all the intense experiences worn him down so he feels he is less of himself "Time to catch a ride it leaves today, her name is what it means" -her name, heroine, as in his lover and hero that is saving him with her emptiness "Too much walkin', shoes worn thin" -saying that he has lived so much that his ability to brush off the hard things in life has worn away |

| Bush – 40 Miles From The Sun Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| You just fucking blew my mind! You perfectly described one of the most intense bad trips I have ever had. And that is what this song reminds me of. Sitting in silence with my girlfriend pressed against my chest on the brink of the end. Knowing there was no going back but still clinging on to that moment not wanting it to end. | |

Whecks your a doushbag, don't get all pissed because people reveal to you that all you favorite music was intended to be about all these scary drugs. in fact the deepest meaning i can draw from this song is the loss of innocence when you began to use heroine. the bliss from the slam and the inhibition it brings . hippie1441 you are totally right i couldn't of said it better. and all the shit abot vietnam is tight i never thought about that you guys sure do allot of research. but as for what the artist wanted the song to be remembered as, ill let him tell you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3OiOlnoyljk |
