How a little while back he was playing a show in Atlanta and had a visit bacstage from the very Michael who the song is about, he hadn't seen him in over a decade. While onstage later on he heard someone scream out 'Micheal', so he played the song for the first time in years, and he could see Michael weeping in the front row. |

Could the reference to candy, possibly be a reference to heroin? and that he started using it one summer but she was too upset as she said to bother him about what he was doing? This could have led to a premature death and the reason why she is so upset as it could have been prevented. She is as mad at John as she is heartbroken. |
