We Are Augustines – Chapel Song Lyrics 14 years ago
I always saw this from the point of view of a father giving his daughter away to someone he thinks is the wrong man, or perhaps just reflecting on the pain of letting your child move away from you.

The Tallest Man on Earth – Like the Wheel Lyrics 14 years ago
Not sure if anyone else got this, but I always thought this was a song of religious despair and losing faith (though I myself am not religious, I think a great deal of the imagery and metaphor here is obvious and in many ways it seems to be addressed to God). I won't analyse the whole thing, it's better if you just listen and think about it, but what stuck out in particular to me was the line 'There's a cloud behind the cloud to which I'm yelling'. This to me seems to be a realisation that perhaps there is no God, but simply another cloud behind the cloud to which we're all yelling our prayers.

My initial thought was a girl confused about her sexuality.... I noticed nobody said that. Is it just me?

My initial thought was a girl confused about her sexuality. I just saw this on a video of Naomi and Emily from Skins Series 3... I noticed nobody said that. Is it just me?
