When i first heard this song i thought it was amazing, but the moment he sang - "But when I woke up from that sleep, I was happier than I'd ever been" It nearly brought me to tears. I am still to find a song that will make me cry!! I wanna find one, not because i enjoy crying but because i want to know that they do actually exist!!! I have a good friend who cried when she heard Hallelujah (the Jeff Buckley version) so i wanna find one that does the same to me... |

I was under the impression that Lisa Hannigan wrote the words to this song. I dunno. In my itunes the composer is listed as Lisa and all the other songs as Damien...i don't know what to take from that hehe I am aware that Lisa Hannigan can play guitar, so she could have written the guitar part, but also the lyrics seem a little different to what Damien writes...They did have a large influence on eachother...so it could be either way... Whoever wrote it!!! Amazing song...one of my favorite songs of all time!! |
