From what I gather, this song obviously was used in a movie. But ill take a new perspective.... maybe its about an unrequited love: "And id give up forever to touch you Cus I know that you feel me somehow You're the closest to heaven that ill ever be And I don't want to go home right now" The narrator is saying that they love this person so much, but for whatever reason, the person they love either won't admit their love... hence "I know that u feel me somehow" or they really don't feel anything at all. He loves her so much, he even compares it to heaven, he just doesn't want to let this end. As the song progresses, the line "and you can't fight the tears that ain't coming"...he's saying to her basically that she can't cry for him because she has no feelings for him. And he understands all of this but it doesn't matter. Then of course "and I don't want the world to see me, I don't think that they'd understand." Everyone would think he is a fool for holding on to this person that doesn't love him. But he knows in his heart that he loves her, and that's all that matters. Sorry its kind of jumbled up, posting on my phone lol and its hard to edit! But you get the drift lol jus basically this man wants to enjoy the time he has with her and hold on to some hope she will see him for whom he is. |

| This song, pretty sure it's in my top 10. And of course, the lyrics are beautiful, but like how ca84 has said, the way he sings it & the emotion, it takes it to a new level. It really is about when everything is all said and done, you know the love will always be there. It may not be so obvious but you can feel it in your soul. Quite possibly, this will be me wedding song as well. :P | |

What ever happened to this girl ?! Her songs always had soo much emotion and meaning. And this, has to ge my FAVORITE song by her. I think she's reminising about someone she needed to finally say goodbye to and end if for good. And possibly when she says "I still get lost in your eyes" and then goes on to say "I'm not giving in this time!" She has to remind herself that all of that doesn't matter and sometimes you have to let it go. |

Well whenever I hear this beautiful song, I believe its about an old love. And for whichever reason, they had to let one another go. Possibly about being in a long distance relationship as well, because the line "will you remember me?" Simply because they may not see one another everyday, she's asking if their love was strong enough for him to remember her alone. It also could very well be about someone passing away. Such an amazing song and really, it can be inturrpreted anyway it speaks to your world. :) |
