| John Frusciante – This Cold Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| I once heard it put like this. Most things that we as people enjoy are all based in time. Sex, drugs, and music, for example, all require time to enjoy them. Once we have moved on from our physical bodies, we will be timeless. I think that since John sees it that way, he respects time. We should all respect time. | |

I’m central to nowhere Thinking of sweeping it clean When we choose to go we’re losing more than just our surroundings I’ve gone around the sides of this universe as it stands Outside the limits of all existence Where light never ends We should be grateful to the gods Whoever they’re real to they are I value my placement as in Hell Remember that moment that I fell, hey hey hey. Anything that could one day be is as real as what I’m saying If something is nothing, it must not be something in any possible way Lo-lo-lo-lose yourself in the far off worlds that are right under your feet Switch below with above all the way up into infinity We should be thankful who we are Whether we know ourselves or not Walking alongside myself Neither of us listens very well I’m dreading a time that is not near As a man on cross I have no fear I can’t believe these words I’m saying You gotta feel your lines You gotta feel your lines (repeat...) I’m dreading a time that is not near As a man on cross I do not fear I can’t believe these words I’m saying You gotta feel your lines You gotta feel your lines this song comes immediately off of enough of me which is a song about death.. this song symbolizes the transformation that takes place shaping the individual who has made the change of a negative personality trait... |

| John Frusciante – Enough Of Me Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This is actually a song that shows true pain..yet by the end of it there is a closure of some sort.. it symbolizes death, and the rebirth that comes with it.. its not suicide exactly just the death of a bad piece of ones personality and how the same way as death it will form a new life | |
| John Frusciante – Heaven Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Well I spent the night in heaven I wanted to figure it out for myself I spin around the fortress You never know the currency that we all run on We run on We run on You once told me You keep a billion frequencies on your person End the night with channel four You don’t see me looking you up when I’m here We live fast cuz time won’t last See me freezing like the bum I am From where you start there’s endless information drilled into your eyes Well, I don’t need protection One life begins, another dies Bad timing I won’t last Man, that’s the facts I it a feeling that will never pass And you know you could be taking us far When I speak to you again through the stages of pleasure Well, I don’t have my own face So c’mon and be replaced There’s a future that’s calling But I don’t see it coming No, I don’t have my own face So c’mon and be replaced There’s a future that’s calling But I don’t see it coming No, I don’t see it coming No, I don’t see it coming No, I don’t see it coming those are the correct lyrics... this is a song of a man who has seen heaven through the astral plane and he wants the pure love and peace to come to this physical plane |

| John Frusciante – Dark/Light Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This is not a love song .. this song speaks to the questioning of god that everyone experiences.. it shows a struggle between man and god. | |
| John Frusciante – God Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| First I must say that Jesus is a hoax.. but the point of the song is to illuminate the fact that there is a god, which is also kind of the point of the whole album.. it just says that no matter what u believe if you can accept a higher supernatural authority, it will help you with your life... God is there | |
| John Frusciante – Unreachable Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| It seems to me that this song has a spiritual meaning as does the entire Empyrean album.. this song shows a struggle between the motivations of a greater self and the limitations of the physical mind... "are we down for the same cause" shows his questioning of what hes been striving for vs. what he should be striving for.. there is more out in the world than constitutes the physical plane and thankfully The Empyrean greatly surpasses this physical existance. | |
| Vicki Lawrence – The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This is a story told only for the fact that the justice system in this country is and has been a failure... the main point of this song is to shed light on the "injustice" system. | |
