@[Klappa:2327] I do think the people in town thought that he burned down the house with his mother and her lover in it. I am not sure if he did that or just ran away from a fire. |

The first time I heard this song was in the movie "Beaches". The way I have always interpreted the song is that someone is really desperate and notices everyone around him who is also desperate...and of course the people wondering around with their eyes closed to what is actually going on. I always thought of the 'overflowing' as being 'overwhelming' and the 'i think it is gonna rain today' as being tears because he has been helped by someone with actual human kindness. |
