To me, this song is about a guy confused on whether to keep the relationship he has with this girl or to end it. Just read over the second verse of the song and the answer is crystal clear. He is pretty much saying that he really hasn't paid attention to her probably due to the fact that he is not into her anymore and how he says "planning my escape". He isn't too sure what the right thing is to do and that is why he says "I'm scared what I'll find but it's the choice I have to make" in which he is simply saying is that he'll find out if it was the right decision or not to let her go. |

Late last year I was in this same situation with my then girlfriend. It was our second attempt at making it right. Things were good but as time went on I slowly realized that it isn't going to work. I loved her so much but I knew she didn't have those same feelings like I had. So it just wasn't to be. We remain friends and joke that it is too bad that we weren't meant to be.
Basically, when I first heard this song I was blown away because how personal it is to me. Everyone out there goes through unfortunately. Such a great song though. |

This song reminds me a lot of my ex. Like the song, all she cared about was herself and never was really interested in what was going on in my life or anyone else's. Hence the reason why I broke up with her. I have been a huge fan of Hoobastank since they came out at around '02 and the new album isn't bad but this is the best song on the album I think! It also gets my aggression out whenever my ex pops into my head, I just listen to the song and it makes me realize that it isn't worth it! |

This video is indeed hilarious! Great song as well! This song came out at the perfect time with the situation I was in with my ex. Whenever I saw her I would act mesmerized and then my friends gave me a dose of reality with a slap to the face, haha!
