I like how he portrays the image of: "The night has a thousand eyes, And the day but one; Yet the light of the bright world dies With the dying sun" The night having a "thousand eyes" represents all the stars in the night sky, and "the day but one" represents the sun during the daytime. And as the sun goes down its "dying" which makes the light of the world dissappear.I love how they use a lot of personification in this song. You can almost close your eyes and picture what he's talking about. |
