You can't say he "hates God, but must believe in him up to a point". Isaac Brook is an atheist so he can't hate a non-existent being, or deity, whatever. He's clearly stating a point that life is crap, and if God did exist the way you portray him to, he would be a downright asshole with a sick sense of humor for making people's lives like this.
Christians really can't interpret an atheist perspective, so don't bother trying if you're one of them. |
