My friend suggested that this song is about a girl who dies....could this be possible? And if so, could you explain it to me? I always though that this song is about a girl who has had a hard life, and theres this guy who is in love with her, but she rejects him cause of her past, and his sadness is expressed through the song. |

i have an eating disorder, and i can completely relate to this song. its like shes saying im ok, nothings wrong even though shes hurting inside. and then she finds a way to control herself. but she doesnt want to believe that she is hurting her friends, so she dismisses the question. |

the lines "its hypocritical of you, do as you say not as you do" and "I'll never be your perfect girl" makes me think that this song is about a girl who is physically and emotionally abused at home and she needs to run away because she is not safe there. |
