this song is about mind f*cked parents. i say parents specificly because the title "points of authority" if the title was forfeit the game or something along those lines i would say mind f*cked people. you like to think you're never wrong-they think they know what's best for their children and make descions for them without considering the childs feelings. you want to act like you're someone-they make it look like they are more than they are. you want someone to hurt like you-liter you want to share what you've been through-liter it all ties in with the rest of the song. you live what you learn-your grandparents are as f*cked up as your parents. very simple. why does everybody think this is a guy-girl song? i might not be right but i'm pretty sure this isn't a guy-girl song. |

i agree with mo money. i also figured out that when he says "with this ink in our skin we've sealed our fate" the ink he is talking about is the words "in god we trust" which is everywere in america he's saying in a way the faith and belief in god has screwed has enternally. |

Great song. The Song is About Child Abuse he's saying that the children are killing people out of anger possibly their abusive parents/authority figures too. it reminds me of hansel and gretel from black lagoon. "dark in their hearts","tormented young with not souls","pain in their live's all they know is misery". this along with the entire second verse is what make's me say this song is about child abuse. |
