its not too difficult to understand. Boy and girl date, boy and girl fall in love, boy and girl break up. She brings up all the bad things in the relationship while he's stuck remembering the good times they lost. They fight, they say mean things, but in his heart he knows its not true. He knows they're not getting back together, but he also knows he is going to feel the pain for a while, cause she meant so much. And she possibly held off the breakup to not break his heart, but then it ended up hurting him more, "What happened to us? Why didnt you stop me from turning out this way?" The girl has moved on, but the boy just doesn't understand it all together. |

I think that this song is about a boy who never has his mind made up about this girl, so they continuously break up and get back together, and for a while, the girl has no objections to this. She starts realizing that hes gonna keep doing it and hes a liar, but she still cares. "Do you think I'm fond of getting you And letting you down?" Shes getting tired of him doing it all, and so she starts breaking up with him too. and getting back together. They both lie, but they always end up with eachother. Thats just my take |
