3OH!3 – I'm Not Your Boyfriend, Baby Lyrics | 15 years ago |
white pill= drugs. Usually 'white pill' is considered cocanine or crack. that part means that kids use drugs like its nothing, they prescribe the medicine to themselves, and use it to make them forget their problems ('feel alright'). |

Wow. I agree with you, and definatly believe that that is a meaning of the song, whether the band meant it to be or not. There's nothing else to say except that this is a beautiful song and JT has an exteremly sexy voice, just because duras summed it up so well. =] |
Hawthorne Heights – Somewhere in Between Lyrics | 15 years ago |
He's fallen in love, and the girl he loves is his complete opposite (at least inside his head.) He see's himself as bad, (Devil, Nightmare) and her as perfect (angel, dream.) "i turn my back and walk away away from the pain scream out loud, drownin out by the sound of the rain." He's tried to stay away from her, because he didn't think it'd work out; he thought they were too different, so he tried to 'turn his back and walk away from the pain.' He thought that their differences would make the relationship end in pain. "listen up i've had enough of all this waiting i need you more right now than i ever did." He got sick of trying to stay away. In the end, staying away hurt too, so way not risk the pain (but we'll meet somewhere in between)? He needs her, and he's figured that out, so he wants to mett somewhere in between. |

Opps, meant to add this. Both the "accident" they're praying for and the "worst case scenario" they're preparing for, are death. They're preparing to die, and they're slowly accepting it and slowly starting to let go of their will to live. |
Hawthorne Heights – Rescue Me Lyrics | 15 years ago |
My interpretation is a bit different then other people's here. "I miss your taste, I miss your smell The past mistakes that brought you here I'll break the fall for you my dear I'll ask the nurse for bandages And send me on my way" The person singing here seems different then from in the 'rescue me' part. It seems like this person hasn't seen the one asking to be rescued in a while, and has missed them. They want to help them out ('break the fall' and 'bandages') because they dont care whats happened while the other was away. ('past mistakes') "Rescue me From everything I just wanna live I wish i could breathe" This is the one recieving the help. They, obviously, want to be helped out. They just want to live, and they're fighting to breathe. "And beg the lord for accidents. I've seen the worst case scenario, I'm slowly letting go." The person who wants to be rescued, also doesn't. If help doesn't come soon, they're alredy preparing by 'begging the lord' for 'accidents'. They're preparing for the 'worst case scenario', and they're starting to accept it (a.k.a slowly letting go.) Basically, they want to die, but yet they don't. They're slightly bipolar, and depressed. That, at least, is my personal meaning, since I qualifiy for the rescue-e. Anyone else with me on this version of the meaning? |
