Yes, it is about Death Note because they wrote it for the studio, but I'd still like to point out that the word "Kira" does not exclusively belong to Death Note. Ultimately, Kira means Killer. It's just the Japanese transliteration of that English word. Because neither Kanji nor Kana can formulate that word, it's transliterated to Kira. It uses the Kana for KI and RA. |

In addition to that, it's been speculated that Maximum the Hormone uses double meaning in their songs. I read that it was confirmed in one of their songs, though the truth behind that I can't back up. The speculation suggests that Maximum the Hormone first writes the song in English, that transliterates it into Japanese. Thus, they mask the true meaning of the song. While listening to their music, I've noted that much of their lyrics seem to strangely sound English at times. That's all up to interpretation though. |

SaiSai, it's ultimately about Rape. Or intent to Rape. "Chuu chuu lovely muni muni mura mura purin purin boron nururu rero rero" are all onomatopoeias that are actually sexually explicit. "In that suticase if a coil of rope, packing tape, and a cutter knife" - just denoting the weapons intended for subjugation. "The moshing of the stalkers of undeniable tendencies starts right here!" - Since they use the word moshing and use stalkers in plural, this is about gang rape. It's all throughout the song. So, to answer your question, no, it's not 'obvious this is talking about how hot he thinks a girl is' because that's not what the song is about. |
