i think it's about someone who is there own self. they don't cave to peer pressure and have their own identity and hasn't conformed. Basically about anyone of those 'odd one' people that they need to be themselves, and don't let anyone get them down and that they are no-one. great song, awesome band. |

Personally all of what any of you have said is true. That's the beauty of music, open to interpretation. But I think it is about a girl, who is lost. I think it is a women who is a prostitute who is probably involved with drugs, and wants to get out of her dark and tormenting lifestyle, but can't quite attain it. and i believe the chorus is about the guy who is going through with sleeping with her by fllowing 'the siren's song', which i belive is the "allure" of a hooker. And at the end she dies, b/c of the life she had lived. |
