I agree with what has been said. But I think what he's trying to express throughout the song is how hard it is to actually let go of the girl he's singing about. "I'll never regret all that I said to you. But you never turned away." To me this line suggests that hes moved on, but the feeling of her not completely letting go will be left in him, thus making the struggle harder. Hopefully this makes sense. |
