| Seven Mary Three – Cumbersome Lyrics

Mycohl has it, about the relationship being a stalemate and that a guy is losing his girl, he doesn't know how to get her back even though he probably led the relationship get to that point. I also agree that cumbersome (burdensome) should mean heavy, the bad relationship has become burdensome (or a heavy load) on the shoulders of both the guy and the girl. I've seen weight (meaning negative, excess baggage)used in alot of grunge and post-grunge songs as a common theme, sometimes it means guilt too. I like the way cumbersome is used in this song. |

It's a shame that more people don't know about this song. The only way I was able to obtain it was through buying the soundtrack to "The Faculty". If anyone remembers it, it's probably from seeing that movie. I thought it was well-placed come to think of it. I can't find it anywhere else, and it must have been made in the mid-90s before the movie (or for the movie) before Crow got really big. That's why I think it's so unknown. It also presents a very different style I haven't heard anywhere else in her career. It's so funky, hard rock. I'd love to hear more of stuff like this from her. |

| Brother Cane – 20/20 Faith Lyrics

It sounds to me like it's about someone being afraid to have faith, him not being sure he has enough of it to let it do what it's supposed to do, comfort him. Of course, I just think that's what it means if the words are taken literally, I mean in a classic Southern, Biblical way, which is where Brother Cane is from, the south. |

I just love the Middle Eastern-sounding part in the song towards the end. That just shows Disturbed knows their craft and can integrate other styles effectively. They have style period |

| Drowning Pool – Sinner Lyrics

It's funny but before I saw the lyrics on this page I thought that one line "upon the cross" was really "of point and cause" which also makes sense with the lines before it when you think about. It also makes the song turn towards a more nihilistic meaning, like he doesn't think there's a point to life so why argue about sins. Anyway, it's a sad way to look at life but it makes sense in the context of this song at least. It's a message I'd expect to hear from Drowning Pool. |

| Nirvana – You Know You're Right Lyrics

Guys, I'm not going to tell you to cool it with the Courtney Love accusations since this is an open forum, but some of them on here are just downright scary! I'm a fan of Nirvana and Hole (more so of Nirvana) so maybe I'm a little bias in saying nothing was ever proven, though I agree that many aspects of Cobain's suicide don't add up. They were both good artists in their own right, and at one time they loved each other and raised a kid together. Didn't it say somewhere in his "suicide" note that he respected Love so much for having ambition and enthusiam, while he lacked both. And for you conspiracy theorists, I think it was in the part of the note that DID match his handwriting. |

| Ozzy Osbourne – You're No Different Lyrics

I enjoy this song very much. One of the many reasons I love Ozzy (and Black Sabbath for that matter) is that he has a talent in replying to his critics in his music, while also not keeping a mean tone or grudge toward them. We should all be so articulate and forgiving... |
