I love the darkness but it scares me at the same time. When i hear the guitar at the beginning of the studio version it puts me in a abandoned prison for some reason. it is over run by darkness and there are memorys of the ones who spent time there. I have listened Alice in Chains since i was born but i really got into them when i was 8 or 9 and when i first heard this song it was amazing. To this day i remember the feeling of what it was like. I may not have been born or old enough to go to AIC concerts or remember anything or Layne being alive but It doesnt take that to know he is the greatest singer out there with the most heart and talent. He just was victim to addiction but his addiction also inspired alot of great songs if im not mistaken. But Alice in Chains is the Greatest and Always will be! |
