I think the opposite: the girl is the one who wants that her guy tells everyone how much he loves her, but the guy doensnt like the idea: "I wrote your name on the wall / with blood red aerosol /isn�t that just what you wanted / I drew your face on to my notepad with invisible ink isn�t that just what you're scared of" The guy is "cursing the gender" and even says sarcastically: "Oh, I forgot to ask can I write a song about you?" -girls often dream of song-writing boys who express their love. I think the whole point is how this guy loves the girl , but doesn't understand why the girl wants everybody to know it, this basic 'why dont you tell me more often you love me' : "I�m yours for life / though I don�t scream it out." I think the lyrics are awesome, very realistic! |
