You have to undersatnd something.Billy Corgan has been linked with having Borderline personality dissorder(look it up).I suffer from the same thing.All of these lyrics are like looking in to my own mind/soul.Imagine living with all of these emotions at once.Thats one reason I love the Pumpkins, I identify personally with these songs. My take...He's commenting on the fact that he can't feel any real emotion...But at the same time can't get his mind to rest.The whole part with the "you were not alone" is classic BPD.He's obsessing over something that probably is not even true. Never meant to hurt anyone.BPD sufferers often hurt everyone around them in some way. The rest is pretty obvious once you read about BPD. |
