i think this song has some lines that can be interpreted either way. like the line 'can i call you my friend'. i think that he's comparing this line to the previous, ' i cant call you my friend'. i think what he is doin is comparing his feelings about her when his heart was broken..and he thought he couldnt talk to her at all..like he didnt know her... then when he started to miss her, she called him.. and he is now feeling, 'can i call you my friend cause its been so long since we talked a i miss you' .. now hes wondering whether he can welcome her back into his life... i totally agree with you that this song is beautiful. |
