If your a fan of the Decemberists i would definetly reccomend Death Cab For Cutie if you dont listen to them already! Both bands are truly amazing but id have to say the Decemberists get my vote.

I think these lyrics do speak for a lot of people, myself included. The idea that he/she is trying to 'rid them from my bones' is just an amazing lyric. The idea that you can never forget this person, no matter what you do. Write about them...whatever way you try these people have become part of you,and you will never be able to forget them. This song gives you feeling of regret but at the same time, hope as well,at least thats what i think :P |
