I know this is impossible to verify, so please believe me, but I have actually asked Kimya Dawson face-to-face who this song was for and she said Julian Lennon. I'm a huge Strokes fan and, knowing their tour history, initially thought it was for Casablancas as well. I heard this song for the first time at a really small show of hers and talked to her about it afterwards and she said it was for Julian Lennon and his use of auto tone when he sings.
