My friend, this line must bother you because it goes against every grain of your philosophy. BTW, the last time I checked - evolution was still a "theory" which its believers accept in FAITH. I will really wish for an evolutionist to explain to me what "love" means...in their philosophy, dont be too surprised by your findings... Second - there is a difference between opnions and facts...learn to seperate the two, and finally, being open minded does not mean one must be "mindless". my dear sister Theresa, you do have have great passion but I believe its misdirectd. I dont know if your a Jehovah's witness but you do take things a bit too personal at the expense of thinking you know the mind of the LORD. Do consider, God sent Jonah to the worst of the lot and Jonah condemned even though God wished otherwise. Another point, dont cast your pearls to swines...speak spiritual things to the spiritually discerned. I believe this song is an apologetic and am not surprised in your self righteous zeal - you missed the point completely. Nathan, you shoot yourself in the foot my friend. you see, by using words as "illusions, truth, soul, spirit" you actually build a glass house and trow lots of stones at the religious people who does have a truth. We can speak of philosophy and religion if you wish, but I must caution you to think aobut your truth claims before you so boldly speak. In the words of U2 "shush now"...let the Teacher speak btw (We are not here in life to preach some gospel, impose our beliefs on others, or to be a martyr. We are here in our life as explorers. Whatever circumstance we were born into, no matter what it is, we chose to come into as EXPLORERS) this is statement of your belief which you WISH to IMPOSE - ponder that my brother...you cant have it both ways |
