Wow i mean wow These songs are genius I used the songs for inspiration as a performance i did at school and everyone loved it heres what i think of the trilogy He and jenny have been friends forever and now they are older jenny is meeting new people especially guys The narrator however loves jenny and doesnt know how to tell and he becomes obsessive over her and she doesnt like it and yells at him, "we had a fight on the promenade out in the rain" she tells him she loves him but as a friend and as she leaves he grabs her in anger and kills her. Midnight show is possibly about either how he is with other women or him just after the murder when he still has that rush of adrenaline and hes convincing himself it was a good thing. "can you keep a secret" hes possibly talking to jenny asking her not to tell obviously she cant shes dead and sorta impling hes crazy. This song i see him in a prison cell reflecting back on everything and hes delusional and living in the past. he still thinks she'll come back and he's sort of apologizing to her and explainin why he did what he did. but maybe he was just happy to kill her. |
