| Oceana – The Family Disease. Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I have to agree it is very sad, and yet so beautiful, like an eloquent Bring Me The Horizon when you listen to the guitar work. I think that he is dealing with a love that he can not have, and it is a theme I find relevant in the album. Or maybe a sibling altercation. Vomiting illusions-speaking lies to trick himself to be happy. Hook my heart to my eyes-his emotions are being drug by what he sees is apparent. He seems to be accepting to himself that he is a failure, and the devil, or evil, is inside him. He is sick of living the lies. Hence the vomit word choice and the use of the words cheap imposter. The only part I don't understand is the part of the son. Maybe this is but an elegy to the unborn. haha. |

It seems like he can not be with someone for a reason that lies within himself. Like he is too troubled or scared. I think it is a feeling, because it says that he needs to "clean" so he "can sleep". So obviously he needs to get something out before he can rest. And until then he is restless. I fucking love these guys. The new album is like Bring Me The Horizon with class. |

| Closure In Moscow – Sweet#hart Lyrics | 16 years ago |

The whole album tends to corrolate to the theme of a struggle between head and heart. Sweet#hart seems to be an intimate love for someone, but being hurt by it once the pleasure has gone away. Besides the song lyrics, I have to say that First Temple is one of the greatest albums I have ever heard. Guitars, drums, vocals, lyrics are all perfect. |
