I actually think it's about self harm "But my body's scorned with marks, that say "these aren't the last lines that I'll see.." I think lines means to cuts "I relive my pain, with every scar It's a battle field of memories, that just won't go away, for me...." every scar or cut relieves pain and in this battle all the scars are memories of what happened and it wont go away "And roll up my sleeves to let the scars show my mistakes" this means that the cuts and scars are hidden under the sleeve, and if they show they will also show his mistakes "No I won't crawl back just to bleed, Forgive me, I promise i'll stay clean" he says he wont do it again so he is asking someone to forgive him and he promises he will stay clean |
