I see a spiritual meaning. It looks like the spiritual state might be achieved through some psychodelic drug one drinks, but I prefer to see it as inviting us to achieve it through a long-term approach like meditation. In that state we see our true selves and presumably in that state when writing the song, the author looks at the rest of us (and his/her past life) and sees how we bubble wrap our melodramas on this physical plane. Once you achieve such a state, you realize that at some level achieving it is actually largely a matter of letting go (of our desires and attachments). It's so amazing here. Let go. |
