It kinda seems like for this song he settled down with a girl he really liked, got too attatched early in the relationship and caught her cheating on him (Now all that I've been hearing must be true I guess I'm not the only boy for you) good song and it just spits emotions everywhere. |

I see these songs (part 1 and 2) to be songs about life, and how you should live it to the fullest and persevere through the tough parts instead of giving up, because in the end it all pays for itself. I have actually had a friend commit suicide, and im commenting alot on this album because it really captures feelings about these sort of things in as good a form as it can get without having to feel it for yourself(trust me, you don't want to.) while you may not, your memory will live forever. | i agree with you in ways, but in others i must say you are horribly wrong. Sngs do not have one set meaning,if they did they would be statements rather than songs. They are meant to mean different things to different people, to bring up emotions that we want to experience agai by listening to their music agian. If everyone felt the same emotions, the world would have died out a long time ago. | |

i posted this above but to me this song is about suicide, and grieving and how people react with people who are grieving, so at the end when he says "but ts not true, i don;t need you, dont waste your time and dont waste mine, im not your friend, i won't soothe your soul, and in the end you're all dead to me" he's just saying that he can get over it without them and that when he returns to almost-normal he doesn't expect them to want to help him then, so don't try helping now. these are my views, which are not any less valid than yours. |

I feel that this song is about suicide, like that his best friend committed suicide and now he is around everyone else who is trying to confort him, telling them how they feel the way he does, and thats why he says things like we won;t play your games and dont ask you'll never know, because he just wants to think about things by himself but he can with everyone stepping on the back of his feet. I can say this truthfully, cause i've been there before and that is exactly how i felt. |

maybe he is having doubts about there being or not being a god, and he wants those thoughts to keep away from him, because awnsering one of those types of questions only raises more questions. thts the way i see it,maybe im right or maybe im wrong, but your thoughts are no more valid than mine are. |
