| I believe this song is touching on the reassessment individuals experience when “awaking” from a bender, binge, or long drug induced duration, where they haven’t accomplished anything but meandering through space and time and how easy it is to loss track of the time that is spent in such odd feats. It also hints on the solace that is felt to have someone who has equally wasted their time with you and how valued those relationships are for someone who feels desponded from normality’s realm. Albeit, Atlas Sound expressed his despise for psychedelia, the lyrical content seem appropriate to dub psychedelic. As you intake more and more of it, individuals have a tendency to gravitate towards obscurity, or, guided by strange lights. That's my half ass decipher. | |
