I think it's about war and protest. We the people, by protesting, are the only hope left for the Iraqi children and people. After dark my city's a fuse means a town is burned and smokey from the tear gas the riot police uses against the protesters who are protesting against war who one day decided to live like a lion and show the government what they think about war and fighting for peace!!! |

Great Song! Never be a pawn be a boomerang, to me means, not to be a sheep but be a shepherd! Like soldiers are pawns for the new world order. I'm glad Zach mentioned the NWO in his song. Ali Toure is a Malian singer and guitarist who used his music to inspire so many people and did a good deed with the money by becoming mayor of a town and fixing the roads, and having electricity in the poor town. I think this song is about Zach trying to wake the people up and not to be scared cuz if you're scared then you're already dead! RESIST THE NWO!! |

Reading these lyrics as I listen to the song makes me think of Martial Law or at least the "police state" in the U.S. nowadays. |

I agree with billysha, the verse with Muhammad and Christ means that they thought us peace and love and not war and hate like we have today. If Christ (or Muhammad) whoever you believe in, were alive today, they would not be happy that there is war in Iraq/Afganistan. |
