hey doofus, the faceless cite David Icke as an inspiration of their music. Research David Icke. It's basically about Sumerian gods, which are believed to be aliens. The story is that these aliens, otherwise known as the annunaki, arrived on earth because of earth's abundance of resources and minerals. They needed a primitive worker to mine and work for them so they took the indignious homo erectus and spliced there DNA into homo erectus. Also, if they follow david icke in any way, they would believe MOSES was following the annunaki elite otherewise known as JEHOVA. JEHOVA thrives off mass murder and sacrafice. Evidence can be found in the bible. Moses goes into God's "tabarnacl" or spaceship for three days. While moses is up there, "god" tells him that his brother aaron has fashioned a golden calf for his people to worship. An angry JEHOVA then tells Moses he should wipe them out for their deeds. Moses, a man, then reasons with the all knowing JEHOVA and convinces him not to destroy his people as he just let them out slavery from eygpt. Moses then returns "down" to earth and starts a violent fight because of the calf. Over 3000 men died that day. Yea, Thanks JEHOVA. Also most people believe these beings to some sort of evolved reptile or reptilian. This is why there are so many ancient gods that have reptilian charteritics. The Faceless are in no way referring to any contemporary version of the bible. Actually if you substitue alien beings for god or jehova in the bible, things start to make more sense. The faceless simply believe that we were created as a slave race for our masters...the gods. The gods thought they had ridded us with the flood, however, one of there own and our true creator, Enki, saved zuisundra / noah so they could repopulate the earth. All of this goes back to sumerian and babylonian mythology which is true nature of our existence versus a rehased version... cough cough CATHOLICISM. |

I interpret it from almost a buddhist staindpoint. We are living in the three dimensional world right now. We need to reach "enlightment" to be freed from the enslavement of the 3rd dimension to progress to the more spiritual dimensions.
"if this is a lie, then what am i" ....i interpret this as if the world is not really real, then what/who am i really. This is pretty much the core question buddhist monks dedicate their lives to figuring out.
"This is the portrait the man behind the curtain has painted for you"...I interpret this as the world (3rd dimension, thus the song being titled 3D) has been created by an architech/god/gods (whatever you believe) and its up to us to connect to our seperate spiritual/divine nature and become enlightened, thus escaping the "enslavement" of the 3rd dimension. In order to escape we must escape the wanting nature, give up material things to become dis-attached. Senses Fail type thinking....but i could be absolutely wrong. |
