basically i reckon like everyone else he's met this girl in the abc quite liked her, swapped phone numbers or he gave his to her. and he really likes hers and is waiting by the phone as such for her to text or call. She hasnt so in the chorus he is just expressing how simple it is to contact some one in this day and age. also i noticed the line "turn it on cause i need to hear from you" is saying he has contacted her and she hasnt replied as opposed to waiting by the phone. because she hasnt contacted him, he is going back out on the pull to find someone else to take his mind off the first girl |
